Fuller diceva che " la vita è a colori, ma il bianco e nero è più realistico", Erwitt che "il colore è descrittivo, il bianco e nero interpretativo".

Caldwell infine disse che "vedere a colorì è una gioia per gli occhi, ma vedere in bianco e nero è una gioia per l'anima".

Numerosi grandi maestri hanno messo a confronto questi due mondi, colore e bianco e nero, lo stesso sono chiamati a fare gli artisti di questa edizione di ISO600.

Tra il colore e il bianco e nero, tra queste immagini c’è infatti uno spazio infinito da indagare, interrogare, che promette altro.

Eccoci qui, a  mandare definitivamente all’aria ogni forma, ogni esercizio, dispositivo, e a dare vita a una fotografia liquida, un’opera  che si confronti con tutto, che stravolga i canoni, che stravolga il tempo, lo spazio, il ritmo, per mettere in discussione la fotografia, la sua forma rigida, la sua storia ingessata: l’apoteosi di quella utopia della libertà di poter sempre fotografare tutto, anche quello che sembra impossibile da cambiare e da reinventare.

2024, Decima edizione! Un traguardo che festeggiamo raddoppiando le gallerie con l'inserimento di Spazio Viola e portando il numero di artisti selezionabili a 56!

Raddoppiano anche i curatori, oltre ad Alan Marcheselli si aggiunge il prezioso contributo di Alessia Amati.

Fuller said that "life is in colour, but black and white is more realistic", Erwitt that "color is descriptive, black and white interpretative".

Caldwell finally said that "seeing in color is a joy to the eyes, but seeing in black and white is a joy to the soul".

Numerous great masters have compared these two worlds, color and black and white, the artists of this edition of ISO600 are asked to do the same.

Between color and black and white, among these images there is in fact an infinite space to investigate, question, which promises something else.

Here we are, definitively ruining every form, every exercise, device, and giving life to a liquid photography, a work that compares with everything, that overturns the canons, that overturns time, space, rhythm, to question photography, its rigid form, its fixed history: the apotheosis of that utopia of freedom of always being able to photograph everything, even what seems impossible to change and reinvent.

2024, Tenth Edition! A milestone that we celebrate by doubling the galleries with the inclusion of Spazio Viola and bringing the number of selectable artists to 56!
